Summer Holiday Nature Camp
school's out, let's play in the forest
AGES 5 - 10
MONDAY - THURSDAY
JULY 2 - AUGUST 31, 2019 (July 1 and August 5 Stat Holidays)
9:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.
Looking for something fun and exciting for your child to do during the holidays? Come and join Whistler Outdoor Learning for nature based games, play and exploration through the wonderful forests surrounding Cheakamus. Led by BC Registered Teacher, Rachelle Sereda, each week has a specific theme based around plant and animal knowledge, deepening nature connection, navigating the forest, games, and gardening.
In addition to themes, each week will contain gardening, sit spots, forest safety and games. Please note that the themes may interchange as the weather changes. For example, if it rains we may move from hiking to exploring the slimy creatures that come out in the rain such as slugs, worms and snails.
